Our mission?
Omivera exists because we believe drug discovery decisions should be guided by direct evidence of target engagement in biologically relevant systems.
Founded to close the gap between assay data & clinical outcome.
Over the years, we repeatedly encountered the same challenge: compounds that looked promising in early drug discovery often behaved differently in cellular systems. This highlighted the need for technologies that measure drug target interactions directly in their native biological context, rather than relying on biochemical assays.
To address this, we developed CellEKT, a chemical proteomics platform that measures cellular drug target engagement and selectivity. As interest in this approach are growing, we founded Omivera to make these technologies accessible to the broader biotech and pharmaceutical community.

By directly measuring drug target engagement in patients, developers can make dosing decisions based on quantitative evidence of target engagement, minimize unnecessary toxicity, and rapidly distinguish between insufficient target engagement and ineffective target biology. Ultimately, we believe this will enable safer and more efficient drug development.
